Well, at 17 years old I think I might possibly be the youngest outright DeLorean owner in the UK (?) but as far as insurance goes for under 23 year olds, as Dan W points out it's a no go area as far as I can see. 
I think the best quote I've had so far on the DMC-12 is £2500!! It was bad enough sorting insurance for my daily driver '93 K-reg Honda Civic (which, rather hilariously, is group 10 insurance)
At the moment, my Dad is insured on the DeLorean for about £150 which takes the piss a bit, but hey that's life I guess.
If anyone out there does know how to get young drivers such as myself or Jordan on the road legally with our DeLoreans, then I'd love to find out more!
