Hi all!!! Good to hear that everything is going well with your car Dan. My car is vin5255 not so much older than yours. The clutch master cylinder decided to pack up when I went upto my parents in Manchester the other weekend. I have done 2000 miles since purchasing my D in mid January on the then millage of 5800. Dave Howarth has supplied me with a new clutch master cylinder and the service kit and will be installing and bleeding the system hopefully next weekend. Looking forward to SCS. Seems a bit quiet on here recently... is that a good thing? (no problems, no posts eh!?! ;o) ) Anyway... another busy weekend working on Hana! Though she didn't actually have anything wrong with her when I bought her I'm finding things that either annoy me or look easy to fix so I've been having a "go". First off, I've done the fog light mod that Martin has designed. Very nice it is too. Mine isn't perfect yet (you try looking at the tail lights while in the car!) but it's nearly there - I just have to hook up the lambda light and it's finished. Easy mod too. While the dash was in bits I found a couple of bulbs out (halfords stock the lot) and my fans seemed intermitant. It would appear that the fan switch is in two pieces that "plug" in to a bracket. Mine had separated. I know I have small hands but they're cut to pieces so if you have to do any work down there... be warned!! The suspension is also done and settled too. Looks great! (if you haven't done it get your £50 to Chris P now!) Now i'm only waiting on headlights that have been ordered. As soon as they are here I'm booking the MOT... ooh can't wait! Anyone know of a good electric ariel replacement? Mine goes up... but then takes real effort to get the thing down again... So all being well you'll all see her at SCS!
