RE: [doc] Riviera Classic Car Show. 2002

Tony / list,

I chose my words carelessly , substitute " more expensive" for
overpriced, I might add there are two more "Expensive one's" , mine!!!

In all seriousness, I've never known a period like the last few weeks ,
neither has Dave. All the affordable ( non-painted ) ones, with exception on
Tony's have now sold.

So to re-cap:- in ascending price ( contact details on last mag.)

1) Surrey car very nice cond, pained red ?8.5K

2) London ( Alan H's ) Temporarily withdrawn whilst cosmetic improvements
are made, but any-one could still try him. ?9+?

3) Isle of Man, I've seen this one, its immaculate, low mileage , early, gas
flap, black manual, John is quite firm on the price, ?17K

4) Northampton, A very smart car that has a lot of money spent on it,
including a very rare DMC number, (worth upwards off 2/3K) price ?17K.

5) Derby,1983, Lefty, Grey Manual, 111 miles from new, two prices, as is ,
with Yankee lights unconverted needing, battery, final touches also ?17K or
fully running on the road, ?18k.

6) Finally, Dusty, RHD black interior, manual, 630 miles, runs great, offers
around ?29K

To the best of my knowledge that all the DeLorean cars available.

Your careless , tired, Hon Sec.

Tony,
it will sell! Alan Henry has withdrawn his pending repairs, so that only
leaves the two overpriced one's and the red one!!! Have faith!

Chris,
Sadly not sold yet, despite a chap coming the other day, though he has been
round the country seeing all the others too.

I have had an enquiry from a local cinema about using the car when the film
is re-launched. My plan is to polish it up, be paid to leave it on display
outside the cinema (with a discrete For Sale sign) and sell it to a rich
person as a spontaneous purchase. There has to be someone out there!

regards
Tony
