James, Has been a member of the DOC for many years ( he paid his 2002 subs today). It gives me a real thrill to know that James's long time desire to own a DeLorean is at last fulfilled. It adds to my pleasure that I was instrumental in "pointing" James towards this particular car that I first saw for sale "down south", while attending a car rally on company business. James did a right good deal with the last owner and has a very early gas flap, low mileage car. Vin 569 . Thanks for your help with the electrical stuff Martin. There's no fire hazard as such - everything's fused (although the fuses for the headlights sometimes melt :-). If your cooling fans fail (which they CAN), you risk overheating fairly obviously. Look to the far left of the relay compartment - is there a blue module in the bottom corner? THis is the fan fail module and prone to failing. It should be removed and replaced with jumper wires.
