Should really be doing this privately via email, but I like to keep the
knuckle-biting soap-opera style of the group going :)

OK, so it looks like it must be an Outlook problem, which I'm afraid I don't
know about (Use Express myself). If all else fails, try holding down Alt and
typing 0163 on the numeric keypad (not the numbers at the top of the
keyboard). That should produce a £ <- and that should be a pound sign.

Otherwise, I'm stumped...
