Hi James, >From the info I've been given in the past - there is but one twin turbo in the country (that is known) and the owner is not a member of any club. Supercharging isn't really popular with our engines and if it is done, it's usually with a new engine (like a Rover V8). Ask the Americans on DMCNEWS.... :-) Martin is currently gathering some notes on turboing for himself and me (I'm interested in raising the bhp) and he can tell you all you need to know (it'll cost you between £3k and £6k). Turboing the auto is possible.... though it probably isn't worth the hassle. INSTEAD.... and Martin can take over here.... raise the power by using off the shelf parts (again, Martin...) and get things like porting/polishing/boaring done. Apparantly 240bhp from a well tuned naturally aspirated block is not unheard of. And the name you are after is Tony Lawther... nice bloke too.
