Hi Dan
Thats quite a good price, i think they areabout
$205 from yout favourite DMC dealer. Make sure your fuel pump sealing ring and
cover are in good condition too, soo you dont get debris(rubber!) and waterin
your tank. Make sure the baffel is cleaned out and not come away from the bottom
of the tank. And like i said check the pipe from your pump, if its cracked or
split at the bottom then it needs replacing. The other thins is you may find bad
fuel in the system, so if you buy some injector cleaner, put the pump into a
large container with the cleaner and the return into another empty container.
Run neat cleaner through the system. Also put your injectors into jars and push
down the air flow sensor so the injectors get cleaned too. To run the fuel pump
remove the RPM relay ( Green or black relay at the back of the relay
compartment) the put a wire link between the brown and white/purple wire. When
you have finnished run petrol thru the system back into a container until all
the injector cleaner is flushed out. Dont forget the system runs 29 gallonsan
hour thu the system, thats 2 litre a minute so you need a big
container!
