I will be along Chris, but as I live just up the road I don't need to stay in 
the hotel.
My parents have stayed at the Travel lodge at Fenstanton and they thought it 
was
fine. Note that it has a Little Chef.
St.Ives is good for pubs/food, and is nearby also within easy reach by a 
short drive
is the Black Bull Pub at Godmanchester, which is a good pub for food.
