Hi Claire,
I will contact Mary if someone can come up with some
artwork.
The Loire Valley area around Le Mans is full of Chateaus and
is a large wine producing area. So if anyone wanted to
"escape" they could and have lots to see.
However I don't want to put people off but the campsites on
circuit (known as lay-bys) are not what your normal caravan club
member would expect.
These have the best atmosphere and less going back and forth.
I am keen to avoid us being stuck in traffic/walking miles.
Rich is sorting ferries and first night hotel.(this may impact on
the outward route)
A nice scenic route back is a good idea.
The two choices on the way down(Dover route) are back roads
to Rouen or autoroute via Paris. (Paris is 2 3/4 hours from Calais
with the hammer down)it would be nice to avoid autoroutes as the
police like pulling people on the way to Le Mans and escorting
them to the nearest cash machine....
All the best
Nick H
