If you are also subscribed to the DML, the centre console topic has just
been covered i.e., with LED's that spread the light at an angle to
illuminate the whole air con panel. If LED's were fitted in the dashboard
itself you may have brighter instruments, but the dimming control would
become nothing more than an on/off switch.
I am also considering changing the bulb's to LED's, as the allure of having
a new stereo not cooked by the heat from bulbs is too important an issue to
miss. The faster brake light action is a safety benefit and the
interior/door lights could be left on all day long without flattening the
battery.
The only thing I would miss it that lovely warm glow you have from a
bulb.... on the other hand, the battery would be on a permanent holiday with
100% LED lit DeLorean.

Just bought and fitted the door LED lights for BAKNTIM.
They look stacks better than the original bulbs. Anyone know if you
can get LED replacements for the dashboard/binnacle. The bulbs in
the center console look fine, it just the main dashboard lights that
look a little dim, even with the brightness controll on full.
