Yup, there's an electrical gizmo that controls the tuning, unfortunately
it's the processor for the entire radio! :|
I guess all American stations in the states must broadcast on odd
frequencies - perhaps an American member can comment?
Sadly, there is no quick tweak or mod that can be done to fix it..
