I say more. I was in the Xantia which has rather marvellous brakes and
pulled me up inches from the car that had suddenly stopped in front of
me. Better evidently than the MX5 who piled into the back of me, also
gawping at said young lady. We both realised we'd been doing the same
thing but at the end of the day, I stopped, he didn't. He claimed he
never even saw my brake lights! £50 for replacement of a beautifully
designed removable section of my rear bumper, and over £900 to fix his
front wing which was bent so badly the o/s front wheel wouldn't turn....
