I have used Waxoyl around some of the box sections. Its very good in
it's aerosol form and offers a good tough coating, I wouldn't like to
use it anywhere too exposed I suspect it would soon get washed/worn off.
I have also used it in it's 'liquid in a can' form to protect the
pockets in the centre of the 'v' in the engine block where crud and
water can accumulate. That worked very well indeed and has created a
nice waxy coating.
All my local motor shops stock Tiger Seal - perhaps it's a northern
thing :)
I am pondering the possibility of coming to Alan's East Anglian meet on
the 19 September so perhaps I can bring some down for any interested
folks?
