RE: [doc] Day out in Kent

All,

A little belated I know, but I just wanted to echo Claire in saying what
a fabulous time I had in Kent this weekend.

The mileage for me in all was some 600 miles and gave #1274 a _really_
good test, and the driver too :)

The DeLorean really is an excellent car to cruise down a motorway in and
after a two hour drive arrived at Thurrock services quite fresh and ache
free.

Of course the hard drive has shaken things up a bit and manifested some
more faults to take care of. Clutch (slipping again), newly squeaking DS
suspension (very annoying) and an oil leak suspected from the LH
cylinder head gasket (big job). Along with some cosmetic work I have
done which at the time I was chuffed with, but just didn't stand up to
the heat/motion and will need doing differently. So it's back to the
drive for more work...

Thanks to all for your compliments about the car. Also to Martin &
parents for their hospitality.

Looking forward to the next one - with air con!
