Mike,
 
 personally I use axel stands with bits of plywood and bits of old
rubber mats. Look at the strong points, avoid bending anything or
cracking the epoxy, use the suspension where possible.
 
 That my method anyway, Frenchy was up on stands for months as I worked
my way around underneath.

Hiya all   ( Those of us not at Top Gear and Harpenden That is!! )

I am wanting to get my wheels redone....and yes you know the next 
question....whats the best way of 'domestically' supporting my D 
whilst they are off and what part of the chassis is this done from??

Dont want to damage it in any way for the 4 -5 days they are off the 
car
