As ive just solved my fan problem ....I agree with everyone ....from
cold to that temperature in 3 - 4 mins doesnt add up.....
The fans comming on after 10 -15 mins is about right in my book....
this shows the otterstat in the engine bay is switching them on
ok.... assuming the fans turn off again after a little while this
looks ok..... if they are staying on then there may be a problem
with it.... i was advised to also check the 2no connections to the
stat for rust etc.
And yes check whats in your fan fail relay slot ( relay no
7 ) ...should be the 3 wire fused mod there at least.
Check both of your fans are running...and both come on if the ac
switch is turned on also
Good luck solving yet another 'd' Mystery!
