whatcha trying to say Martin? ;oP Is the car "lairy" or only with me
behind the wheel! As for being not nice to drive, she isnt the most
relaxing car to drive, I'll give you that, but at least its a car you
have to drive and concentrate on, rather then our modern daily drivers
which cosset you with reassuring ABS (and more on Renaults),
soundproofing, power steering, computerised warning systems, etc.
Anyway, I havent tried the old girl with her working speedo yet, all
I've always done is ask what 4000+ rpm in 5th equals to! ;oD
Still, once she's MOT'd it'll either be a nice surprise or a huge
disappointment to see exactly how fast she is, but I think your and
Daves comment of "we've got a rocket ship here!" after the engine
rebuild in April 2003 probably says it all..... (as fairly 'standard'
cars go anyway).
Oh and I'll need to get the rad refurbed at somepoint too, how long
will it be away for?
