The noise is caused by the pads resonating inside the caliper.
A couple of things to check.
Are there anti squeal shims fitted, if its the front brakes and facing the
correct way (ie. rotation of disc when moving forward). Also have you used
high temperature grease such as copper-slip or cooper-ease on the backs of
the pads & either side of the anti squeal shims.
If this does not fully cure the problem, you can file down a 2-3mm chamfer
on the leading & trailing end of the frictional material.
Hope this is of help.
Mark

Subject: [doc] brakes squeeling!!
Hi Folks
My brakes have been squeeking like made since I got them taken apart
and rebuilt down my local garage, They were binding really badly
before but now they a great but the squeeling noise is driving me
mad....I have sprayed brake cleaner on the calipers and sanded the
discs to get a bit of the rust off but the noise is still there! Any
ideas??
