SSpeaker option_____and ____Re: [doc] Interior re-trim

Sounds interesting, I think the only issue with the 'grain' of the
finish is on the tunnel cover and the knee pads, the dash, binicle
and A pillar covers seem to be a fairly standard pattern from what I
have seen.

That guy from Germany at Eurofest had has a full light grey leather
job on his car it looked, felt and smelled amazing, but obviously
not original.

I am going to approach my local trim guy, and a yacht upholsterer I
have used in the past, I would prefer not to have to send them half
way around the country this way I can keep an eye on proceedings.

I may just get a vacuum formed copy of my damaged glove box, it
won't be fluffy to start with but I can live with that.

Also I noticed that with the dash out you can easily mount 4"+
speakers in the front holes by mouting them to the fibreglass
underbody instead of screwing them to the dash, anyone done this?.

I drove to the shops his afternoon with only a moped speedo zip tied
to the dash, sad thing is it worked better than the OEM one ha ha,
not sure if it was properly calibrated tho!
