ADVICE - Picking Your Car Up From Port.
If your going to drive it home :-
Take a foot pump !!!
Just incase 1 or 2 of your tyres are flat.
One of mine was flat, and so were most of the other tyres at the port
(they had obviously driven them off the ship like that as the tyre
walls were worn), and with no one around to help and 10 mins until
the gates closed, luckily I had brought one along. A guy picking up
his 4x4 breathed a sign of relief when he found out I had one.
Also...
The Pair of Pliers !!
Just incase your hood release handle has snaped off the cable. You
won't be able to fill her up and the petrol station. Luckily there
was an AA man on site who lent me some pliers (by then 3 people were
gathered around my DeLorean asking loads of questions, ...how many
made, etc. So brush up on your DeLorean history !)
If you don't have plates and intend to drive, take your Driving
Insurance Proof or cover note.
Best Regards to all.
