Remove the two clips that stop them just coming off - it's best to have
a look at the bonnet ones to see what you have to do. They are a kind of
circlip that has a long strait bit 90 degrees off the circular bit and
it pokes through the socket to one side of the ball.
Make sure you're supporting the door, and give each end a good thump
with the ball of your hand - if that doesn't work, a hammer
