Chris,

      I'd love to be able to beat you to the post on the prototype recreation. It was a beautiful car. Loved the wheels. Who owns the original now? Martin sent me some pictures of it before, and I won't have completed life till something similar sits in the drive way :)

      Well, perhaps one dream is enough, the prototype would just be greedy :)

I don't know how many of you were following the DMC "Flag that flew over the
Factory" on eBay, but it finished early this morning at nearly 2,000 USD.
My bid of 800?  was no where near enough!

But I did manage to buy the pro-type instrument cluster, last week. As and
when I get time, I'm going to re-create a proto type looking car around it!
...You know the one, brown interior, sliding windows , different wing
mirrors, low dash, exhausts in the middle etc. etc.

So in the future, if any of you see a reasonable, running car, with a
utterly and completely shot interior, CHEAP, let me know.

Does any one know where I could start looking for the unusual wheels they
used?
