How'dy Alan.
Carl and i wont be coming over today, he's in the blind panic 'last week of freedom' stages of the wedding plans. well It's a shame that you wont be able to attent the 'end of carls life' celebration, it is the last time any of us will see him before he becomes attached to the sink, and looses all ambitions of having a 'd' in exchange for running a cat hostle for his new Mrs Hammond.
 
At least he will be delivered to this fate in a 'd'. Just as he would have wanted it.
 
So, the Dereham and Fakenam or the Eastern Daily Press will be coming down to do a section on Stuarts 'D' -wee-wee- taking Carl to the church. I just hope he can keep his shirt on for the paper and wedding photo's  ;-)  (just pulling your leg matey!!)
The article will be made available for the web site, just waiting the inevitble, 'Back to the future' related, headline.
 
Can't wait to see MXI newly lowered front end.

Claire..... I have to work every week and only get every other saturday off and all sunday. but you are more than welcome to see how Ive got on.. about parts from DMUK I do need:

1- the flat rear carpet for cargo area (I did talk with dave about this a long time ago!) 
2- 1x bush (the one that goes in the bottom of front suspension damper and has a long bolt go through it to the wishbone.(please tell me I don`t need to buy the whole thing!)
3- the rubber cap cover for the fuel pump, has two holes in for fuel pipes.

I am going to Kos for 3 week in May so it may be better to leave the parts till i get back..

James, are you and Carl coming over again this Sunday?.... I was very busy last week and had to put you off. as for Carls big day I will be unable to come....... would really like to but me boss will not let me have the time off (old sod!). good luck with the big day! :o)) 

As for MXI, well the lowering spring were a nice easy job, front suspension is all painted, just got roll bar to do and a few brackets etc.

next job... fit radiator and fill with water, then see if she will fire (thats fire "up" not "catch" fire). fingers crossed she will !......

then I have to fit front head lamps and get her MOTed.... i still have one or two odd bits to find but she is very close to going on the road.. hopefully.

as I said, got a 3 week holiday coming soon, so any emails May time, will get delayed answers...


If I don`t hear from you before I go, I will speak to you again on june 1st!
