Thought I'd interject. We are an HP reseller, and therefore have some experience of HP colour laserjets. They are very inefficient with Toner and new toners or replacement drums cost too much. If you want a good value colour laser, take a look at Kyocera. They are receiving rave reviews from all our major clients, are cheap to run and pretty reliable.
I must warn you though. If you are looking for photo realistic output, don't purchase a colour laser. Even the high end Canon Colour lasers, (£50K+) can't produce as good a photo as a £200 inkjet or thermal wax printer.
Laser can't print onto gloss either; it gets stuck to the drum, and is costly to remove afterwards.
I would advise sticking with a non-laser technology.
As a "non payed" member of the club, I would be happy to provide a printer of your choice, for club use, at cost + shipping. That should save you another 7-12% percent on the highstreet price.
Kind regards,

Just had a look on ebay and you can get a second hand 4500 for around
2 or 3 hundred pounds.
