Dear All
As visitors to the NEC last year may have seen, we have been working on
a remote system for the DeLorean and are now able to offer it for sale
officially. We now have a new "Upgrades" page on our website and here's
the information on the RemoteWing

----------------------------------
DMUK is proud to offer the ultimate remote system for your DeLorean. All
controlled from one keyfob, this system gives you remote control over
the following functions:
o Independent open/close of driver and passenger window
o
lock/unlock
o
Open either driver's or both doors (will automatically unlock first if
doors are locked)
o
Bonnet release
o
Auxiliary channel - can be used to switch headlights on, open engine
cover (for the cost of an additional actuator).
The system is NOT a kit. It requires complex wiring and can only be
installed by DMUK. It requires that two small holes be drilled to the
inside of the door structure (invisible when assembled) and two holes in
the body tub under the bonnet to mount the bonnet release actuator.
None of these functions in any way affect regular manual operation. The
installation is completely invisible apart from the actuator used to
open the bonnet, and the 2" square aerial mounted to the inside of the
rear windscreen.
NOTE: The all-in price includes any adjustments required to the door
mechanisms to make the system reliable. It does NOT include the cost of
making the central locking system work, which the system uses. Even an
apparently operational central locking system will need the control
module rebuilding to make it reliable. The remote window control also
obviously requires that the windows are operational..
