[doc] Anyone free to do Sci-Fi event tomorrow?

Hi All,

I've just got back from a really excellent day displaying Flopsy at 
the National Space Centre near Leicester as part of their Sci-Fi 
weekend.

The organisers were great, and Flopsy was displayed inside and they 
even got me lots of those 'stretch barriers' so that the car would be 
safe from finger marks and people helping themselves to a seat.

I got lots of photos of her with a Tom Baker Dr Who lookalike and 
with a Dalek.  It was a really good day, there was a guy dressed up 
as Predator, another as Davros, several Daleks (who squirt water at 
kiddies who torment them by shouting Exterminate!!), Cybermen, 
various other alien beings..........

I would love to go again tomorrow but am going to Supercar Sunday at 
Gaydon instead.  The car attracted alot of attention, I dont think 
Flopysy's ever been photographed so much!! :o)

The organisers - who will reimburse any costs and lay on free 
refreshments and buffet lunch - are desperate for a 
DeLorean/DeLorean's to attend tomorrow - they have already pre-sold 3 
times the number of tickets that were sold for today, so it will be a 
busy one!  Plus Sylvester McCoy and Tom Baker will be there in person 
tomorrow too.

Its really easy to get to, being about 10 miles from the M1 at J20 
and is well signposted.

Any takers?  The doors open at 10am to the public and they are 
setting up from 8am.  I got there about 8.45 this morning.

I'll try and get some piccies posted up from today on the DOC Group 
Photos section.
