Hmmmmm.. they contacted me before it arrived in the UK and told me it
stood them at about £14k. As it was untried and un-MOT'd, I said it was
too dear. It has appeared on eBay several times, but I have not
personally checked it out.

This has been on ebay for just under a year now. These people 
specialise in american imports. But it is odd that it hasn't sold in 
a year, and they haven't UK MOT'd/registered it. I think this would 
put a lot of "newbies" off.
