Hi Martin Breathing fumes ?...not that i know of but as with all solvents i use them in a well ventilated space :) :) No experience of 3m '74' range in sticking down carpets sorry, only the '76' range and to be honest im not sure what the difference is ( I wouldnt recommend to use this on 'headliners' its a bit 'thick' , whats the '74' like for these??), all i can say is the Maplins Spray Adhesive (N66AN) has worked for me in the past on carpets but then at £3.50 a tin im obviously another one of those typical tight northerners :0) Interesting fact about the fibre backed carpets, didnt know that was a feature on later cars, my aftermarket piece of brown hardboard is starting to look a bit battered might have to invest in another piece just in time for the trip down to Lotus 06 :) Kind Regards Mike #2001/403 --- In doc-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Martin Gutkowski - DMC Ltd <martin@...> wrote: > > You found the maplin stuff to be as good as 3M spray74?
