I seem to rmemeber playing about with these ('linearly attached' 
capacitors?) whilst playing about with the interior light/ delay whatnot, 
but found that they didn't seem to make much difference.  Purple/ white is 
something to dio with it...  One might be the buzzer - I briefly had this 
working but it was driving me spare, so I disconnected it again.
In the end the problem was elsewhere so I reconnected them, taped it back 
up, and haven't seen them again since!
