hi
tried today (cold).
car warmed up fine rpm a bit high at 1500
but stopped to check temperatures etc, and car would not restart.
jumped the cold start valve and car ran ok again.
then after a while stalled and would not restart. (has a new
accumulator)
jumped the cold start valve again and car started then died...
also when it had stalled the idle motor 'felt' humming, the
frequency valve kept buzzing and i could hear the fuel pump running.
ie it did not stop after 2 seconds.
therefore i am going to change the rpm and lambda relay in case they
are faulty. the fuel pump should stop after 2 second should it not
as there is no rpm signal feed to it.
i am beginning to wonder if the rpm signal on this car is on the
blink and the lambda system, so may change the coil as its easy and
the one on is 25 years old i think, and may disconnect the oxygen
sensor (which i assume the car will run in 'default mode' ie
slightly rich.)
just let me know any advice anyone!.
Regards
Steve
