hi
sorry for that slip up!.
what i need to check now is that all the leads on the connectors 
push home fully.
and try to apply the earth by hand  (+ve to middle of motor)
to open /close valve manually and try to get a stable idle.
in other words 'i' replace the ecu.
will also try the screws method and see if she will warm up.
