Great tips guys, i would prefer to inflate the tyres rather than putting the car on axle stands. What pressure should i have the tyres at?

up the pressure in the tyres to help prevent flat spotting.

If it is possible, occasionally moving the car slightly so that it 
sits on a different part of the tyre can help reduce flat spotting
