[doc] Mode Switch Question...?

Hi All
   
  When people say they are having their mode switch rebuilt/replaced does this mean that it is totally defunct/no activity from mode switch,,,?
   
  The reason i ask is that my mode switch turns off and then clicks nicely ON between all the settings but the vents always do the same thing...NO AIR THROUGH WINDSCREEN VENTS but LOADS FROM DOORS AND BINNACLE!
   
  Do i need to rebuild my mode?
   
  Also the power of the air weakens the higher i put the temp is this normal?
   
  Some people have suggested that vaccum hoses migh have fallen off the back of the mode...i am yet to get in there (Behind the console) but exactly how do they work,,,my manual was confusing (As ever)
