B4 i registered my car i had an MOT done on the new computer system and they just typed in the VIN...no probs whatsoever!

When i got my reg plate from dvla the garage redid a new certificate for free!!!

I guess the guy on ebay has repeatedly done it on the VIN...but why wouldnt you just pay the extra £32 to get it registered...very strange!
