Hi all
When i got my car the antenna went up but not down (i had to manually pushi it back in)
I bought a maplin replacement and i got it going up and down but found it very hard to get an earth off the base of the ariel. The hole in my bracket is big so i had to imprvise with washers///but no luck. i also took back to metal the area where the antennsa bites the body for its earth...
But no signal...certainly not a good signal
I then though it might be the new areiel so i bought another cheapo one e bay but this has turned out the same...goes up and down but there seemsd to be no eartgh
Has anyuone else had tyhis prob with aftermarket ariels...big hole no earth...any advice appreciated...i only have 2 tapes and i am getting bored!!!! Missng moyles on the way to work!
many thanks
Craig
