RE: [doc] Number plates

No probs Phil, good luck with it!

Before I registered Flopsy, I ummed and ahhed about what to put down on the
V55, because although she is a July 1981 (W suffix), she wasn't first
registered until December 1982 - so **technically** I guess I could have
asked for a Y suffix plate - then tracked down the registration number
FLO95Y - if it's ever been issued and is still in circulation of course.  It
would have been just my luck that the car it was assigned to would have been
scrapped so the number plate will never be able to be assigned to another
car again anyway  :o(

Hiya Claire,

Cheers for the info, that's exactly what I needed to know! Yeah, it makes
sense to me, and I understand Chrispy's new RHD went through a similar
process. I'll give the owner a call and see what happens.

Thanks again,
