Hi mate

I changed mine about 4 months ago and my car still displays the same symptoms
that yours does.

It might just be the mixture setting is off slightly and might just need
a little adjustment.  If your thermotime was knackered then you would have
trouble starting the car as the thermotime acts as a switch for the coldstart
valve to add more petrol when you start the car.

I am sure Martin will correct me here but I have never heard of the thermotime
breaking, and I only changed mine as my car sat for so long.
