I suffered similar problems Re: [doc] Car lowered! Only one problem

Thomas,

I had a bad clunking sound comming from the front when I changed my
springs, it turned out that the lowering of the car had accentuated
some play I had in the steering rack.

It was a horrible knocking sound comming from the front whenever I
went over the slighteset lump or bump.

Luckly I removed a shim from the steering rack, to take out the
play, and it removed the knocking sound completley.
