I too have Tom's mirrors, having exhaustively tried to have the same 
made in the UK without success I was very pleased when Tom made them 
available.

I would be grateful if you could post how to wire them to the defroster 
switch, as this seems like the best compromise. Having the heaters run 
constantly seems unnecessary.
