The steering column has a taper on it and once seated the wheel can 
be an ar*e to pull off without a proper puller.

Yep I did make one of these, it was crude but worked like a charm so 
much so that it quickly found it's way around the world, including 
Germany, France and Ireland as people asked to use it.

I think Martin @ DMUK still has it, I'm sure he will post it to you 
if you ask. 

If DMUK doesn't have it, and it can't be found, I will need to make 
another one anyway as my wheel is on the wonk. It only took 30mins 
to make in the 1st place, I would be happy to send it to you.
