Hi Thomas,
I had the same problem with my car it always came up very dull
what i done was cleaned the car down with a very good hot jet wash at my 
local
fuel station. i think what happens is the dirt and crap get right into the 
grane of the stainless
The jet wash and heat is great at cleaning it out.
when i done my car the result was great .
