[doc] DMC (Texas) Fusebox

For the record, DMC (Texas) has *NOT* reproduced the fusebox.

Costs to reproduce this item were too high compared to the anticipated
sales.

We do have 800+ new main wiring harnesses, of which we sell very few. We
have removed fuseboxes from these harnesses on an "as-needed" basis to
fill the demand for the fuseboxes. So, they are NOS fuseboxes, just
removed from a new harness.

It is HIGHLY recommended that once a year you perform a ground and
fusebox service, including cleaning the terminals in the fusebox and
relay compartment. That alone will go along way towards extending the
life of your fusebox and minimize the likelihood of electrical gremlins.
Actually, as part of the fuse box service, I would normally just throw
the fuses away and replace with new as they cost so little.

I also recommend leaving the cover removed from the fusebox, ostensibly
for better air circulation, though I can't say for sure that it makes a
significant difference. I remember years ago at a show - Nashville,
maybe? - that I saw a guys car with a small 12V computer-style cooling
fan mounted in the removeable wooden access panel to draw air out of the
relay compartment.

Regards,

James Espey
