[doc] Front Facia removal & Refitting...Should I strenthen it?

Hi All,
I have just received my replacement facia (thanks Dave) to replace 
my badly 'eyebrowed' and damadged facia. my question's are
1, Should I put a strenthing bar along the underneath top edge to 
prevent eyebrowing again?if so what suggestions, size of bar how do 
you hold it in.
2, How easy is it to remove and replace the facia, anything in 
particular I should watch out for, tips etc.
