Yes, well and truly hooked I'm afraid.  Perhaps I could swap someone for a
ride in my limited edition Ford Escort (one of the last 250 ever made)!  No,
oh well - I can almost here the delete keys being pressed.  I don't know if
there are any other members down here in North Devon.  Although there was a
DMC-12 advertised in Exeter a while back.

BTW (another acronym for Chris): I don't mind the normal side stripe so
much, but the Beaulieu car has one I've never seen before.  It's sort of the
inverse of the usual one and covers the bottom quarter of the side down to
the sill.  Very different.  Never seen it in all my thousands of collected
pics.

Hey Mike,

I see you've caught the "D" bug too!

I don't think any amount of pics you see of a DeLorean, can actually prepare
you for the real thing. They really are quite something else "in the metal."


If you're not already hooked, you soon will be when you have a seat and ride
in one (I know I was!) and I'm sure if you ask around, there'll be someone
in the club who'll be more than happy to take you out for a spin, (they're a
really friendly bunch you know!)

I've just seen my first DeLorean "in the metal" down at Beaulieu.  I'm in
love!  I have to have one someday.  Hate the black side-stripe on that
particular one though!  The next on the list is to have a sit in one.  Just
thought I'd share.
