  I can confirm that this is indeed the same car, and the photos were 
  taken before it came to us, as evident by the US style headlights and 
  the crappy roof-switch thingy which Andy knocked off while climbing 
  across the console to un-jam the driver's door (and he's not a small guy!)
  The grey boxes under the rear fascia (which were a sod to remove in 
  order to get the back box off), plus the dealer side-stripe (rare by 
  general DeLorean standards) and grey wheels and gas-flap all tell me 
  this is the same car.
  Thanks to Paul's advice, we were not left short by the work we did but I 
  would value the car "underneath" at around £10000. It definitely needs 
  (more) attention, but I would not take on any for the current owner. As 
  far as I know the chap who paid a deposit last time has not had it back. 
  He is/was also a customer of ours.
