I think I may be of some help here. Being interested myself I've 
looked in to this in the past...

Talk to www.performancealloys.com - they will make you wheels - but as 
has been posted here, it'll be expensive. Whether they'll take on the 
original look is something else entirely!

I looked at fitting custom 20 inch wheels to my Calibra and the quote 
came out at nearly £3000 fitted (with tyres).. so it shouldn't be too 
expensive for 16s/17s etc. With that wheel you'd not have to go too 
low with the tyre profile either - I have 215 *35* 19s on the Calibra 
and it's a nice ride. The Delorean will take 40s or 45s with ease.
