RE: [doc] Minimum offset for rims?

Sorry Stian,

It looks too technical for me.

It's kind of hard to explain, Chris.

If you look at:

www.tyres-sold-online.co.uk/online_mechanic.htm

and then scroll down to where the headline says "Wheel Offsets" and
read from there, then maybe you or someone else can help me get the
info I need.

I have never found out the minimum offset info for the DeLorean's
rims/tyres.

In my registration document, there are still two open boxes. One of
them says "Min. rim offset front", the other one says "Min. rim
offset rear". There are supposed to be numbers in those two boxes,
and the numbers are supposed to be stated in "mm" (millimetres).

I'd like to fill out this info, so that the registration document
gets more completed than it is now. Since the DeLorean was never type-
approved in Europe, registration documents (at least for the
DeLoreans over here in Norway) vary a lot. It's not a big deal, but
many would like to get a common "standard" registration document for
the car. That way import and registration for future owners would be
much more easier. As it is now, each new owner when registering the
car for the first time has to "convince" and sometimes have to find
documents to show to their registration authority about the
DeLorean's specs, and esp. info that are not contained in the import
papers. It goes without saying that it is difficult to obtain the
technical info since the factory closed 20 years ago...

Best wishes
