I suspect my rear wheels are not aligned. When I changed the TABs, there 
was not a single alignment shim on either side, and the wear pattern on 
the tyres is consistent with too much toe-in. They lasted 7000 miles. 
Chris Hawes' P600/6000 combo still has stacks of tread and he's been 
doing a similar mileage to me, and drives like even more of an essex-boy 
:-).
