Easiest way to check for any drain on the battery is to disconnect the -ve lead on the car battery. Put a meter (set on Current or Amps) between the battery post and earth lead and see what the current draw is should ideally be less then 0.05 amps with everything turned off. If not then remove each fuse from the fusebox in turn until the reading drops to less than 0.05amps. The fault is then on that circuit you have just removed the fuse from (page 243 in workshop manual). If you still get a high reading then try disconnecting the alternator wires from the alternator as you can have sometimes have a leaky diode in the rectifier. I'm assuming you're checked for any boot/ bonnet lights are not stuck on etc. and that the stereo in the car has been disconnected etc. Good luck. Nick.
