Hi Chris

I spoke to Robin at Shuttleworth about this car, as I was interested in
buying at 8k from Donkin. He said that the car is no where as good as the
dealer describes it.

The dealer paid 10K for the car as I was told this by Donkin. There are no
receipts with car despite a full engine was bought from DMC for $10,000. The
the engine does not run very well either.

You agreed that 8k is about top price in its current condition.

Nick Hannaford has sent this info to me. I?ve talked to the dealer whois
selling it, it?s the much discussed ?dodgy interior? car, vin 5424.
It seems to have suffered a quick bout of price inflation, but the dealer
does say he?s going to do some ?re-trimming? inside. Its had a new engine
apparently because the old one ?cooked?. The chap selling it does notseem
in any rush to part with it as its ?just to attract interest?!

It is one of the few s/s cars currently for sale, but I still think its
over-priced.
